DID YOU

KNOW?

WHAT TO

EXPECT?

Did you know one-third of all greenhouse-gas emissions that cause climate change come from food!   Planet Pizza incorporates the ‘Take a Bite out of Climate Change’ food flashcards which connect with the book published by Professor Sarah Bridle: ‘Food and Climate Change — Without the Hot Air.

An animation created by Rethink Food brings the resource to life and provides a fun and interactive way to connect with important global issues.  Learners are transported into the Planet Pizza restaurant and given the task of creating a climate-friendly pizza. There is also a film and notes to support educators and downloadable classroom resources.
