Last week, the Rethink Food team had the privilege of being part of UKREiiF 2025, connecting with businesses, developers and decision-makers from across the built environment sector. It was an energising and inspiring few days and we left more certain than ever that this sector has a critical role to play in creating stronger, more resilient communities.
At Rethink Food, we work to ensure that no child starts their school day hungry. And this year, we launched our most ambitious initiative yet: the National School Pantry Network. This programme provides direct food support and sustainability education to schools, helping children and families live healthier, more secure lives while building long-term community resilience.
Our message to the construction, property and housebuilding industries is simple:
Would you like to support a local school, or at the very least, hear our story?
For £5,000, your organisation can sponsor a school pantry for an entire year. That’s the equivalent of 2,730 meals delivered to children and families in the communities where you’re already building the future.
But this is about more than food…it’s about creating measurable social value. By partnering with Rethink Food, your business can meet key ESG and CSR objectives, demonstrate a commitment to levelling up, and help remove hunger as a barrier to learning for thousands of children.
We’ve already seen powerful results through partnerships with Savills and a leading UK housebuilder. These collaborations show what’s possible when values align and action is taken, and we’d love to share those case studies with you.
We left UKREiiF with a clear sense that the sector is ready to go further, not just building homes and offices, but strengthening the foundations of local communities. We’d love to talk to you about how your business can be part of this story.
