We are proud to announce that Rethink Food has been recognised as one of the UK’s Top 100 social enterprises in the NatWest SE100 Index 2025, published by Pioneers Post.

The SE100 celebrates the most inspiring and impactful social enterprises making a difference in communities across the country and we are honoured to stand alongside so many incredible organisations.

Since 2018, Rethink Food has been on a mission to create a Healthy People, Healthy Planet by tackling food insecurity, reducing food waste, and empowering the next generation through education. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our team, our supporters, and the schools and communities we work with every day.

Our co-founder, Nathan Atkinson, said:

“We started Rethink Food with a simple but powerful idea: no child should go hungry, and no good food should go to waste. Being named in the SE100 is a moment of real pride for our whole team and it shows what’s possible when you combine purpose with action. There is still so much more to do, and this recognition only strengthens our resolve to keep going.”
