We are thrilled to share that the National School Pantry Network (NSPN) by Rethink Food has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Invest In A Teacher initiative, an exclusive programme supporting projects led only by winners and finalists of the Global Teacher Prize.
This opportunity is entirely unique. Only educators recognised as the world’s most impactful teachers are eligible to have their projects accelerated through this global support pipeline. It brings together individuals, NGOs, academic institutions and businesses who want to invest in proven, scalable solutions that transform education and children’s lives.
Today, more than 400 Global Teacher Prize ambassadors across 80 countries are leading the way in reimagining education, shining a spotlight on the power of teaching to change lives. Their projects have generated thousands of stories worldwide and we’re honoured that the NSPN now sits among them.
At a time when 4.5 million children are living in poverty across the UK, schools are stepping up to support families like never before. The NSPN provides a structured, dignified model that helps schools deliver dependable, varied, culturally aware food support, enabling children to learn, thrive and flourish.
