The countdown to compulsory Citizenship Education in primary schools has begun, with the subject set to become part of the National Curriculum from 2027. But there’s no need to wait.

With just a couple of weeks left until the summer holidays, now is the perfect time to start planning ahead.

Citizenship Education is set to become compulsory in primary schools from 2027, but there’s no need to wait. We’ve just made our entire Agents of Change programme free and available online, giving schools everything they need to start delivering engaging citizenship, climate and sustainability education today, or to get ahead ready for September.
