On Sunday 28 September, something extraordinary happened at ROKTFACE in Brighouse, the UK’s tallest manmade outdoor climbing wall. A group of brave climbers came together to conquer fears, push boundaries, and raise vital funds for the National School Pantry Network.

Some faced their fear of heights, some took on the challenge for the thrill, and others simply wanted to do their bit for charity. Whatever the reason, every single climber was incredible.  Together, they proved that when people come together for a cause, amazing things can happen.

Thanks to your efforts, we’re raising vital funds to support school pantries across the country, helping children and families gain dignified access to nutritious food. Every penny raised makes a difference in the fight against food insecurity.

A Word from Our Team

Kevin MacKay, Rethink Food Co-Founder, said: “Watching everyone take on ROKTFACE was inspiring. This wasn’t just about climbing a wall, it was about climbing barriers. Every metre scaled represents a step closer to tackling child food poverty, and I couldn’t be prouder of the team.”

Sinead Sopala, Marketing Manager at Rethink Food, added: “The energy, courage, and passion shown on the day reflects the very spirit of Rethink Food. Partnerships, community, and action are what drive change and that’s exactly what this climb represented.”

A special thank you goes to our friends at the ROKT Foundation, whose support made this event possible. It’s proof of what can be achieved when one charity lifts another, building partnerships that create lasting impact.

The Rethink Food Charity Climb wasn’t just a challenge; it was a movement. A reminder that with courage, community, and collaboration, we can scale even the tallest of walls and change lives in the process.

Together, we’re building Healthy People, Healthy Planet.
