At Rethink Food, we know that big change often starts small. This Small Charity Week, we’re joining thousands of incredible organisations across the UK to celebrate the strength, resilience, and power of small charities.

From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a movement that connects schools, communities, and businesses to tackle some of the biggest challenges of our time, food insecurity, sustainability, and the health of our future generations.

But what makes small charities like ours truly special?

🟢 We’re agile – able to respond quickly and creatively to real needs.

🟢 We’re connected – rooted in our communities and led by purpose, not profit.

🟢 We’re impactful – delivering real change, even with limited resources.

We’ve seen this spirit in action through our Agents of Change programme, the National School Pantry Network, and our ongoing work supporting schools and communities with rescued food and inspiring education.

This week is a reminder: we may be small, but our ambitions are mighty.
